Layover in Palm Coast
Florida to Rhode Island - Day 8
We arrived in Palm Coast yesterday... one thing we needed to do was pick up a prescription for Beecha at Walgreens... it had been called in and was to be a simple drive to Walgreens and pick up the prescription... We received an automated phone call from Walgreens about an hour before we arrived to Palm Coast saying that our prescription pickup had been delayed and we would be contacted as soon as it was available... :(

It's now noon almost 24 hours after it was suppose to be ready for pick up... still waiting! It looks like we will not depart from Palm Coast today.

New Smyrna Beach to Palm Coast
Florida to Rhode Island - Day 7
We left Rockhouse Creek in New Smyrna Beach at 0930. We had an incoming tide and this gave us a speed boost for most of the day. WE were doing 7.5 to 8.5 knots most of the day... it was great!

We had a few bridges today but all were on demand and we did not have to wait at any of them... :)

We passed Ed and Linda of Lady Brookhaven who were anchored in Daytona... we had just met them at the MTOA rendezvous in Stuart.

We arrived to Pam Coast at 1430 hours and docked and Jim and Peg's dock just east of Phil and Sarah Lowes house... N29º 35.147', W081º 12.426'... Great dock! Palm Coast is a great place to stop for the night... the MTOA members in the area always have a dock available for you... :)

Tonight we will be attending a fish fry at Phil and Sarah's home... sounds like there will be quite a few other MTOA members there... should be a lot of fun!

Day's Stats: We traveled for 5 hours and covered 36 nautical miles averaging 7.2 knots.
