CT to FL Day 23
Georgetown, SC to St. Johns Island, SC
We left Georgetown this morning at 0715... was a very gloomy day the forecast was for rain in the morning... we did get rain late in the morning... nothing real heavy but it lasted for most of the day... We did not see any sunshine until reaching Charleston Harbor.

A lot of skinny water today and shoaled areas... no issues but sure kept you on your toes running in 5.5 to 6 feet of water for hours... even we had hit bottom it's all mud.... GRIN

As we passed Charleston City Marina we saw one of sister ships docked... STEEL MAGNOLIA... she's a 50' Florida Bay Coaster out of St. Michaels, MD. With only 18 Florida bay Coasters ever being built it's a rare occasion for us to see another Coasters. We have only seen three others close to us in the 16 years we have owned SAILS

We arrived to the our anchorage location on the Stono River just on the south side of Elliots Cut at 1600... we were secure on the hook at 1615... Our location for night N32°46.215',W080°00.739'. We traveled today for 9.0 hours covering 61.0 nautical miles averaging 6.8 knots.

Great Sunset photo off the back of the boat today.

CT to FL Day 22
Murells Inlet, SC to Georgetown, SC
We left Waca Wache Marina this morning at 0800 ... destination Georgetown, SC where we were to meet our friends Tina and Frank and spend Thanksgiving.

We had a nice boost of current to assist us down the Waccamaw River... which cut about half an hour off our trip.

We arrived to the Georgetown Town Dock at 1030... our friends were out on the dock to greet us and help us tie up... Our location for night N33°33.733',W079°05.173'. We traveled today for 2.5 hours covering 17.8 nautical miles averaging 7.1 knots.

We docked directly behind them on the town dock.
