After repairing the dinghy... spun the hub in the prop taking Beecha to beach... we departed from Walburg Creek at 0930 hours and continued north on the inside via the ICW… it was fairly windy 12 knots already and predicted to increase during the day… the ICW would be a much more comfortable ride.

Had a few bridges to contend with but none caused any delays for us and we arrived to Beaufort, SC at 1945 hours and anchored just west of the Beaufort Municipal Marina at N32°25.752’,W080°40.719’.

For the day we traveled for 10 hours and 15 minutes covering 73 nautical miles averaging 7.12 knots.

Left anchorage at 1000 and exited the ICW at Fernandina Beach Inlet to continue north on the outside n the Atlantic... winds were down from what was forecast so we would be able to avoid some of the Georgia ICW and it's twists and turns... :)

Once on the clear of the inlet we had a large ocean swell on our beam... 4-6 foot swells... very pleasant ride... :) later in the afternoon about 1400 the wind started to pick up and we got some 3-5 waves with the swells... made for an interesting ride... nothing terrible though we continued on and soon we were at the sea buoy for the inlet to Walburg Creek... St. Catherine’s Inlet...

We arrived to Walburg Creek and anchored at 1930... N31°40.899', W081°09.492'

We traveled for 9.5 hours covering 74 nautical miles averaging 7.8 knots.

Left 0700... arrived 1730.... 10 horus 30 minutes coveruing 75 nautical miles.
