We left this morning at 0700 just before sunrise... we had a beautiful sky as we exited from Sisters Creek... Destination for today... nothing planned other than North.

We had the current against us starting out but it soon switched to in our favor... seemed like we had it pushing us all day.... several places over 9 knots.

We were in the midst of another large group of boats heading north... did not really see them close to us but the VHF was very active all day with their chatter... became quite annoying to be honest...

AS the day came to end we decided to stop at the Duplin River... we have anchored here many many times and is a nice well protected location with plenty of swing room. When we arrived there were two other boats anchored here... one sailboat and one powerboat.

We arrived at approximately 1845 and we were securely anchored at approximately 1900... our position for the night N31°25.301', W081°17.733’. We traveled today for 12 hours covering 86.2 nautical miles averaging 7.2 knots.
