Weather still horrible.. another layover day in Chesapeake City... Looks like there may be a window Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday... going to leave here in the morning and get to Cape May to be in a better place for Tuesday... fingers crossed the window holds.

Layover in Chesapeake City, MD till conditions improve for the Atlantic Ocean Jersey shore....
Looks like maybe Tuesday or Wednesday before we will be able to continue north. West winds would allow us to hug the shoreline and continue... Weather changes so maybe a window will open up before then.

Weather holding us up in Chesapeake City... the next leg of our trip includes the Atlantic Ocean along the New Jersey shore... forecast for the lower section Cape May, NJ to Atlantic City, NJ was for 100% chance of rain with 7 - 10 ft seas and winds to 35 knots... this is a "NO GO" forecast for SAILS.

Even without the weather forecast we would of stayed put today... our friends Cathy and Jim Fisher drove over to visit us for the day... had a great visit with them catching up on all that has happened since we last saw each other and an awesome lunch at the Chesapeake Inn Restaurant.
